Villa Alconasser is a very pretty Mallorca house. We had a great time. The explanations for getting there were very detailed. Very good location for walks. The place is ideal for resting and discovering pretty villages.

Can Topa is exceptional, we cannot recommend this house enough. The interior design is beautiful, everything is very stylish and top quality. The many outdoor areas provide both sunny spots and shade at all times. The pool area is wonderful with magnificent views of the mountain ridge over Deia. Everything is within walking distance. We did a daily morning run to Deia beach, which is extremely nice at early hours, though it gets quite busy later (understandably, as it is gorgeous). Overall, we couldn’t have found a better location for our two-week family holiday, and we are already planning to return.

We are huge fans of Charles Marlow. We rented two properties so far, Sa Tanca and Casa Dophina, both lovely houses with great location close to the village and with wonderful views. Andreas (rentals) and Maria (sales) provide the best service that you can ask for. If you are looking for a high quality house and excellent service, Charles Marlow is the place to go.

Villa Alconasser is actually even more beautiful than in the pictures. The view is wonderful and there is sun from morning until sunset. The garden is fantastic. The villa itself is designed with a lot of style. The open kitchen, dining and living area creates a pleasant atmosphere. Thanks to the underfloor heating, we had a cosy atmosphere even in March in the evening. The kitchen is – like in general the villa – very well equipped. The villa with its sun terrace and pool area are the perfect base for a relaxing and enjoyable time. From Andreas (booking) and Amanda (host) we got all the important information perfectly prepared. The check-in with Amanda went great. Amanda was also easy to reach via WhatsApp and gave us more tips. The access road is very narrow. But you are rewarded with special views and peace. And you quickly get used to the road. With Soller, Port de Soller, Fornalutx, Deia and Valldemossa, the house is in the heart of the most beautiful places in Palma. We had a wonderful time and can only emphatically recommend Villa Alconasser.

We had a great time while there (in spite of it being during COVID-19 times), and the people from Charles Marlow facilitated everything very well. Villa Alconasser is a lovely house in a lovely position. Views are spectacular throughout the day and evenings. Terraces are great – especially with rain! But also for suppers and lunches. Good facilities (modern fridge and wine cooler, v decent bathrooms, comfy bed, lots of clean and new towels), lovely outside furniture (especially the four steamer chairs) which is all in excellent condition. We felt like there was lots of space, and the pool is beautiful.

Charles Marlow helped us organise a stay in Mallorca during very challenging times. We travel a lot and tend to stay at the best places around the globe, so our bar is very high and admittedly we can be tricky customers as we can’t help but compare every trip to the experiences we had in the past. Charles Marlow and the owners of Ca’n Soller just raised that bar.

Due to the pandemic, our list of requests was longer than usual. Charles Marlow’s team was very professional, efficient and responsive from start to finish – helped us select the right property, addressed all of our requests and made us feel comfortable to travel and ultimately stay in Mallorca. A special thank you to the concierge who has done her absolute best to ensure we could have a fun holiday without coming much into contact with other people.

As we were not comfortable staying at our favourite hotel on the island (through no fault of the hotel), the team came up with the next best thing – a truly luxurious and very spacious property which in many cases resembled our favourite hotel – both in terms of the décor and the excellent service of the villa team. The villa had a lot of character, was exquisitely furnished, well equipped and everything was functioning well. If you are into cooking, the kitchens (there are 3!) are chef’s paradise. Clearly, the villa owners put a lot of thought, love and resources into the property and run a truly 5 star service.

Having just returned from 10 days in a superb villa in Deia (Sa Tanca, ed.), we cannot recommend highly enough Charles Marlow and Bros, and Andreas and Mya (house manager, ed.) in particular. We were very keen, since it was off-season, to have the possibility of a cozy fire, central heating, and the ability to cook a few dinners. The house was handsome, traditional yet elegantly comfortable, beautifully equipped, and situated on the sunny side of the village, perched above the Belmond La Residencia. A perfect spot to sit in the sun on the terrace and watch the goings on in the village below. Andreas was very responsive and handled all the details perfectly; the company manages a number of exquisite properties. We hope to return to Majorca very soon, and would only stay in the Tramuntana Mountains with the help of Charles Marlow and Bros.

The villa that I rented (Can Topa) was comfortable and well situated. It was well equipped, clean, nice linens and towels. Location was perfect for my small group and the little pool was not used (October visit, ed.), but it provided us with ambiance.

I felt extremely fortunate to have found sales agent, Maria Garde, at Charles Marlow after attempting to work with a rather unavailable and unhelpful agent at another local firm. Maria is very pleasant, professional and knowledgable. She is very detail-oriented and takes the time to thoroughly address any and all questions, no matter how much time she might need to invest. We could not ask for a better resource to help navigate the real estate sales market in Deia (and surrounding region)!

Similarly, rental agent, Andreas Thau Loftager has been absolutely wonderful! As we have been working to better understand and explore the real estate market in the Deia area, Andreas has made it easy to identify rental properties that both fit our wants/needs for a holiday away from our home in the USA, but that also help to further our knowledge and experience in Deia in general. Further, all of the Charles Marlow rental properties are extremely charming and appear to have been delicately hand picked! Andreas makes the whole process seamless and effortless. The welcome hamper and welcome guide that he provided were also very nice touches!

There are a few other real estate sales and rental firms in the area, but based on my experience with Charles Marlow, I would strongly suggest avoiding the others and selecting Charles Marlow!

This [Can Topa] is a fabulous house and Manuel and Oro [of design company MoreDesign, ed.], with the owners of course, have done such an amazing job. We stayed in a house near Es Molí last week which was fine but we feel like we’ve gone from a Holiday Inn to Soho House!

We had a first rate experience with Charles Marlow & Bros who clearly only deal with the best accommodation and our stay reflected that. We met with Andreas whilst staying in the village prior to our stay and he very kindly let us have a ‘sneaky peak’ at the villa so we could visualise our upcoming stay. Andreas was then on hand with any queries we had during the stay. The villa was DIVINE and we all have house envy now. Highly recommend CM & Bs.

We stayed at RL3 in Deia in August for a week as a party of eight. The house had clearly been recently renovated and everything finished to the highest possible spec – above and beyond what we have found previously in any rental property. The children particularly loved the cinema room with its giant screen and massive cushions, which in turn allowed the grown-ups to enjoy the outdoor/bbq area and pool.
The location is ideal – quiet enough so that you don’t see or hear the neighbours, yet only two minutes’ walk to the local shop and the centre of the village.
The house manager was extremely helpful and professional, as were the staff at Charles Marlow, particularly Andreas who even went out of his way to drive all eight of us down to Cala Deia when we couldn’t find a taxi.

Without doubt this must be one of the most beautiful houses in Deia, and I cannot recommend RL3 and Charles Marlow enough.

We found the villa to be excellent. Everything that we could have needed for our stay was found in the villa, from beach towels, to pool towels, to yoga mats, to weights, to beach bag, to kayaks to top class kitchen facilities. It was absolutely fantastic.

Finding the words to express what it is about Deia is difficult. It has such a beautiful quiet energy all of its own. This same energy permeates the atmosphere at Son ‘Or [no longer for rent, ed.]. On every level I fell in love with this house. Its design and layout, its airiness, its views of the sea…all so beautiful. I particularly loved how bright and airy the house is. The attention to detail delighted at every turn. The art and books kept me happy and made me so sad to leave. The situation is idyllic – surrounded by trees and sky and just a 5 minute stroll down to a quiet cove – to swim, to sit, to read, to dream.The team at Charles Marlow were so helpful – and any communication was responded to in a prompt and most friendly manner. During our stay we knew that any help required was only minutes away. I can’t recommend this house highly enough and I hope we are lucky enough to revisit.

Not only were your offerings above and beyond other rentals, but quite often when one rents they are left up to their own devices in terms of booking restaurant reservations, taxis, excursions and trying to figure out how to get things done, and it’s quite frustrating because the area is unknown (and a lot of vacation time is wasted). Your help with our booking all along was commendable and nothing was too much trouble. We thank you for booking 3 restaurants for us, Sa Vinya, El Olivio & Patro March (the latter was an experience, well managed by the staff when we had a thunder and lightening storm ! )

Rosa was very welcoming on our arrival and departure, and the house keeping was good with a mid week clean and change of bedding. The taxis booked by you for our airport transfers were on time and the drivers friendly.

My husband and his friend popped in to the Charles Marlow office and met with you, it was good to know that you were on hand should we have had any problems… Any issues we had with missing light bulbs and TV tuning was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

The villa was lovely and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub under the rosemary bushes. Deia was so beautiful, and I actually think off-season was a nice time to visit, with the blossom and the oranges looking so pretty.
