Thank you once again for taking the time to read our newsletter. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoy creating it. In writing this and bringing the newsletter together it allows us to reflect on the past 3 months, which, while flashing by, has seen us achieve a great deal.
You are all aware of what has happened around the world in the past 12 months so I will not mention the ‘B’ word but it would be naïve to think there has not been an effect. Enquiries for property have not continued to grow as many expected and are running at the same level as this time last year. House prices have increased in the sub €3m sector of the market, in some areas by as much as 10-15%. I will write a market report at the end of the year but if you would like a detailed overview of the market, please email me at Charlie@charlesmarlow.com.
The village event programme is up and running for the summer. Arturo held his exhibition at La Residencia last Friday night – you can enjoy his theatrical delights on our YouTube channel.
Some of you may know that Sa Fonda lost their music license – a local tragedy! They have been allowed some live music events again this season so let’s hope that the days of old will return and we can enjoy a dance under the stars.
Since the election there has been an increase in activity here – Deia is the perfect place to get away from the media turmoil and enjoy life with friends and loved ones.
We try and publicise all the new houses we get but for several reasons we cannot always do that. So, if you are still looking but have not seen the right thing, drop me a brief email and the team and I will keep you in mind for any private listings.
Enjoy your summer wherever you choose to be – remember there is a mountain haven, where a chilled G+T, warm glow and clear deep blue sea is always waiting with its alluring magic.
Warmest wishes Charlie
