Every month we bring to your attention a tiny part of the wonderful West Coast of Mallorca. This month, we turn the spotlight on Son Canals, one of the most recently built areas of Deià and utterly in keeping with the charm of the village.

Son Canals is on the outskirts of the village when you’re heading towards Soller, below the floodlit wooden walkway that takes you to La Casa de Robert Graves and Cala Deià. It’s a truly convenient five minutes’ stroll to Belmond La Residencia, Bar Sa Fonda and all the other delights in the centre of Deià.

Because Son Canals is south-west facing, all the homes here enjoy hours of Mediterranean sunshine.
