The Deia Art Scene

story-line

Deia’s Art Scene

Deià has notoriously attracted artists, musicians and those in search of a bohemian lifestyle since the 19th century and today remains very much an artists’ community.

Take an art class, join a guided art-tour, browse Robert Graves’ literature at the local library or simply take your sketchbook down to the Cala and set your imagination free. This is a village that cultivates and nourishes creativity. You will see many local artists paintings around the hotels, fincas and restaurants of the area and we are very proud to display and support local artists’ works in our office gallery, so do drop by to take a look.

If you are looking for specific tips to where to go, please have a look at our list below.
