Are you considering buying a home in Mallorca? Before you do so, it’s a good idea to know exactly which taxes and fees will be included in the purchase. Also, we recommend that you read about the process of buying.


When you buy a property in Spain, you’re expected to pay a number of different fees that usually add around 10-13% to the purchase price. Added to these buying costs, you will be expected to pay most taxes – apart from land tax and the selling agent’s fees. There are fees and taxes for rentals as well, for this please read our rental license FAQ.
